Before I started with Mike, I was working out regularly but making little to no progress and was just repeating the same workouts with no variation each week. And although I was trying to eat well, I gave little thought to nutrition and did not monitor my nutrition. Resulting in an unsatisfying experience with minimal progression. After my time with Mike, I am now visibly leaner and feel stronger and fitter. Mike provides me with tailored workout programmes which change after each training block, I find this structured program a huge improvement on my previous workout routine, with the workouts having increased intensity and variety. Mike has also provided me with nutritional goals and provided me with the knowledge and tools to monitor these goals. I was uninspired and lacked motivation, I found myself doing the right exercises but wasn't completing my sets and not pushing myself. Because of this my diet was also inconsistent and found myself falling at the common hurdles. My diet was pretty good Monday through Thursday but come the weekend I really wasn't watching what I was eating and knowingly overindulging in the wrong foods. I knew I needed a kick in the arse and having known Mike since we were kids I knew he was the man for the job. He devised a workout plan that coincided with my work life, which didn't aggravate an ongoing lower back injury. As regards my diet it was kept simple breaking down my necessary macronutrients and calories which did not restrict any foods as long as they fit my calorie goals. At the end of my 12 weeks I have reduced body fat ,increased muscle mass, strength is increasing and my endurance regarding cardio is increasing almost daily. But more importantly I am now in a routine of measuring my macronutrients and have understand the importance of tracking (within reason). Going forward I now have the confidence to increase and decrease my calorie intake dependent on my fitness goals. This being said I am going to stick with Mike's fitness academy for inspiration, accountability and ongoing personally tailored workout plans.

When I wasnโ€™t see the transformation I was hoping for, I increased the number of workouts per week and this ended up draining my energy. I was frustrated by putting in the work without getting the results I wanted.The structure I got from Proactiontraining and Mike meant that I could workout less and see results in a much shorter time frame. My fitness improved massively and I saw a big drop in body fat and also stopped over consuming food. Even now, I find that I am able to maintain my goal weight without overdoing it on calorie consumption. Proaction training assisted greatly with my direction and self control. I feel much healthier and happier, my clothes fit better and am much more positive and confident. After seeing some members of the Proaction Training academy make incredible progress in what I seen as an incredibly short amount of time, I decided to reach out to Mike to see if the program would suit me - which turned out to be a no-brainer for me. I not only feel much stronger and fitter than before, but I also have such a better understanding on the importance of proper nutrition and training to complement your fitness goals. I have always struggled with my weight and been conscious about what I eat, however I clearly needed structure and guidance on nutrition in order to achieve my body goals. Since joining the academy Mike has given me that structure and guidance . He listened to what my goals were and helped me realise what my priority was. Based on this he wrote me a plan that helped me achieve my fat loss goals whilst maintaining my strength which was so important to me. "Before I started with my programme with Proaction training my eating habits were terrible and had no training regime.ย Iโ€™ve always been carrying more than a few pounds extra nearly my entire late teens and most of my 20โ€™s I didnโ€™t know what a calorie was and just shoved everything and anything into my gob without realising the consequences.ย Mike has shown me how to counteract this with portion control, counting calories and weighing my food.
